Default rc18t batterys

has anyone else thought of useing rc18t battery packs in a 2.2 crawler? ive been looking at them for quite a while and finally bought one and its tiney powerfull and light and fits right between the wheels on the rear of my rig i dont see anyone much useing them is there a reason? i still get good runtimes cant find any flaws in useing them and also was wondering what links i should use on a tlt based k2-5 crawler heres a pic of the battery mounted and one to show the crawler

Yup been there done that, even separated the packs so 3 sat on each side.

cool i might try seperating the pack where there on each side thats a good idea these packs shure are cheap

The first Lipo's I ran in my crawler were the 3s packs I bought to fit my RC18

yep, used em before, but reconfigured my front end to run a brick pack...

As for links, I'd make my own, or look into something like dogleg lowers (if it's a comp rig...)
