**Update** Got some things in the mail yesterday, so now the rebuild begins. Here are the RC4WD spools that are going in. They are much lighter than the stock diff & seem to spin smoother. I sent my SW2 back to BENDER to be put on a diet. Also had him make me some links. This is how it came out. Now just waitng for axles. More on that below. Ok, now about those axles. I ordered some axle c's from Xtreme RC. I cut off the plastic parts to mount them & they DO NOT line up. I am very dissapointed, ALL of them are different. NO 2 look the same. If I could do it again I'd get the Fat Rock version. BE FORWARNED!!:-( :-( I'll try & mod them to fit, I have to, comp on sunday & I cut off the stock c's. |

That chassis turned out sweet, I see another use for what looks like Traxxas pivot centers! I use those things for everything! I like the almost complete lack of the other side late, very creative! I think I'll go orders some spools now... Last edited by BlueMonster; 11-06-2006 at 06:16 PM. |

That's sweet looking. As if the sw2 wasn't already unstopable. Can't wait to see it all finished.

I have the XRC axle ends and have had no problems on install or use. They have held up great. The others do look good, but I haven't had problems. Now I can't wait for the adjustable XRC axle ends. Thanks, Casey |

Managed to get this beast all together this afternoon. Took the C's to the Dremel & shaped the edges, then I had drill out the holes so that I could get both screws threw. It's got a little bind at the end of the servo throw, I think it's from the dog bone end not being centered in the drive cup. Right now I'm just happy it's together. Here she is. | |

Thanks for the link. I just ordered a set. Truck looks great. Those C's have an offset. If it is not lined up it will bind. |

Took it out for a test run today. It's sweeter than sweet. I was gonna paint a new CJ8 for it, but I used all of the paint on Toy-rific. So, I threw the Toy on. Met up with shut d's & RATBASTARD at the comp site, here's a few pics. That's all I got today, more after tomorrows comp. |
