| Rebuild my tlt
Ive been out of the the r/c scene for a while. I have missed a lot! dang there is so much crawler parts now, dont know where to start. getting back into and looking into rebuilding my truck. just order a L2.0 chassis. looking to make it a nice crawler and a daily basher. right now im looking for a new set of tires. i was using hpi rims but the wheel nuts would constantly fall off. so switch back to tamiya rims for now. any ideas for a nice cheap set of beadlock rims. i have looked at the ebay ones and they look nice. any reviews on it. anyway, glad to be back and looking forward to build my truck up. O yeah here a pic of my truck back in 05. |

Comp Tire Review - even if you are not going to comp, these are the stickiest, best tires out for crawling. 2.2 Comp Tire Reviews To be able to find the right setup with weight and foam in the tire, you'll want a set of beadlocks, so you can take the tire on and off a couple times until you get what you are looking for. On a TLT shafty, most people go for 6-12oz of lead wrapped around the inner wheel under the foam. If you want some wheel speed to bash with still, you might start with no lead on the rear wheels, and 6oz around the front. Then a soft crawler or memory foam over that. Welcome back!
