Default TLT guys here's my question....

I searched tons but couldn't find anyone that sells just axles. Did most of you just buy a kit and use the axles. (which is what I'm planning on doing) , or is there somewhere that sells just the axles? I just wanted to ask before I order the kit. Thanks for the info.

I don't know of any place that sells just the TLT axles new, most do buy the kit. The TLT kit has alot of useable hardware and link brackets.

bender is right just get the kit and you can get it cheap at hobby people and ultimate hobbies. they both sell the rock buster tlt kit for 79.00+ shipping.im not sure about hobby people but i got mine from ultimate and it got here pretty fast.but either one should be good.

By the time you order all the parts from Tamiya, it adds up to more than the price of a new kit, so you might as well get the hardware and stuff. And the body makes an interesting jello mold.

Most of the time Ultimate Hobbies will ship internet and mail orders over $50 for free. That makes it $79 for a kit shipped to your door.

Thanks guys, I figured that was the way to go. I'll look forward to my first jello project.

You must not have done alot of searching considering its in the FAQ that axles aren't cheaper than the kit from ultimate. But you have a star, so you're forgiven
