where do you get that kydex material and how easy is it to cut and work with? what do you use to cut it with?

go to orcrc.com and READ the articles, all the parts are on there. estimated build cost to a ready to run status, $450. approx, depends on the deals you get on the parts. Read Noobie, READ !!!!!! |

Thanks people, Glad the article is helpful. It's always hard to determine price, because there are so many options and variables that go into each truck. $400-$500 perhaps? Kydex can be obtained through your favorite hobby shop, I believe it's sold by racers edge. You can also get some very similar ABD sheet plastic at most good plastic places, like TAPP plastics, for a lot less money. RYan |
