Default SSMT crawler

I got this litle guy at a toys r us for 30 canadian for a small project to keep me busy. I plan on locking the diff and stretching it as soon as i find a new axle for it. it crawls decent but the diff slips alot and its top heavy, im also adding another cell

Yeah, a few people have them, and have done some pretty major mods to them. They seem to be pretty cool, but my TRU has never seemed to get them in stock

Sh*tty deal, it will be way better once i lock the diff, im going to put another batterie on it(same one thats in there already just got it from a crappy toy)

Hey, I just got 2 of those lil SSMT's too! My ToysRUs was blowing them out for $14 each, so I grabed a pair. One for living room play, and one for modding.

I plan on using a 1/24 sclae model kit as a body and making a micro-scale crawler for indoor kicks.

Today i took out the 2.4v cell that was in there and put a 6v..... smoke sparks ya to much power there oops. so now im putting my 1st gen xmod elecs in it. im almost done putting the bigger servo then im mounting a bigger engine and the board.

A lot of people here in the US want them really badly, they're now discontinued.

you got that right! i tried getting somsone on here to pick one up for me and i would have paid for it and the shipping, but noone was that generous :?

but now i dont think i want one, especially if they are discontinued (no spare parts)
