Default Starting a TLT build

So I ordered a bunch of stuff this weekend, figured i'd post up what I ordered, and will Get pics up as the arrive.

Tamiya TLT-1 Rock Crusher kit (ultimateehobbies.com) $80

Integy Lathe Motor 55T (hobby-sports.com) $24.59

Tower Pro 995 Hitorque Metal Gear servo (ebay.com) $19

Traxxas TQ3 w/receiver (ebay.com) $34.44

Link Materials (LHS, Home Cheapo) $5.00

Stampede Factory Painted Body, New (traxxas.com) $10.00

MC330CR towerpro knockoff (ebay.com) $29.95

XMod Crystal set 6 frequencies (radioshack.com) $16

All prices include shipping

Plan is to build a tlt using the stock chassis, and to start the stock trans i guess, eventually throw a pede tranny in there, with pede shafts. Gonna eventually run moab 2.2's with yet undecided wheels.

if i ever get a pede tranny before summer i may have my uncle cut me a chassis outta some alum. But for now i think i'm gonna stick with the stock one, as i can easily cut it with a jigsaw of all things

:-P If you want to buy some cheap wheel w/o having to buy wideners, run the duratrax maximun st from tower hobbies. They work great!!
