Ok, so here's some pics of my dig setup. Sorry for the blurry pics.

You got the right idea but it looks like there might bee a few problems,the rear brake is really far away and has a lot of leverage on it ,it may twist off. also looks like you might have some binding with the linkage when youre suspension is compressed just my 2cents

I was afraid of it getting twisted off but so far so good. For durability testing I've gone into a dig at full speed and the setup remains strong. I'm also reinforceing everything with J-B weld right now.

I do have a little binding but nothing major so I'm not to worried. Only time will tell.

I knew it would happen sooner or later. But I was hoping it would work. Anyways, my connection from the disconnect to the brake broke. Miniwheeler, do you have any suggestions for that connection? I already plan on making it shorter so there is not as much leverage but I still need something stronger.

I think shorter is the key, look at the pics really close on page 3

Should be an easy deal with a y-harness to run both servos. build it and post pics

Miniwheeler: Great idea. After reading your original post I started having all kinds of ideas for making one for my crawler. Thanks for the pics and the info, they will definitely make it easier. If I get a chance to make it I'll post up some pics, if you don't mind.

Microgoat: I have a question on your rear cutting brake setup. When the brake is engaged would it only cause the RR tire to pivot? I know the post was from last month so things may have changed but I must have skipped the page your post was on.

no because his dif is locked. So if you stop one tire you stop both.

Well here's pics of it all fixed. I have more plans for it but this setup will hold for however long I need it to. The only thing I don't like about it is that it's kinda ghetto fab. After the comp I plan to get rid of the bars and just sleeve it with aluminum rod.

I like to see other versoins of front dig everyone has differnt ideas on how to do the same thing, the collection of ideas is allways the best way.

It was just an idea that I had in referance to microgoats brake set up binding problem. I just finished building my new TLT today, box stock=Noob. This is one of those threads that gives me tons of ideas though.
