im still a tard at posting pics dont know WTF i did wrong ,but the front dig was easy i used a tq3 left it stock, the 3rd channel works a hitec hs-81 plenty of power and the driveline is 2 male pedes and a female with the end gruond off the slipper ring in the middle is a maxx shock spacer with 2 more c/a glued on some custom linkage and thats it |

Really cool idea. I think I might take it a step further by making it cable actuated so it floats with the shaft. |

Well if I'm not all wrong here I think that font dig means that you can dissconnect the rear wheel drive and make it front wheel drive only. |

thanks scott for the help maybee i can return the favor and offer some help with you with yore scaler tlt jekyll is right,fornt dig allows you to unluck the rear with this you can hook a rock with the rear and turn on a dime:twisted: the linkage is part of what makes front dig work |

ive got ideas on how to lock thr rear during a front burn(kinda like a stick in the spokes)i just need to make it out of better materials kike aluminum and spring steele I will try to get some video on how it works soon |
Awesome man looks good. What type of material did you make your side plates out of? Is it just 16ga. mild steel or is it something else. From the pics it doesnt look too thick. Other than that sweet truck man, I have been trying to figure out a way to disconnect the rear and lock the rear axle at the same time but might have to do something similar to yours. How does yours act? Have any way to post a quick video of it? Keep up the good work. Leach |
From what I can see, the linkage slides the female off the male shaft :shock: Is that right? If so, what keeps the male shaft from falling down? Also, how do you get the splines to line up? I've been thinking of this & I can't get the re-connection of the shaft down. |
The chassis is made out of .050 t6 aluminum. the way its all tied together i think its pretty strong it has taken several big drops with no problems at all |
There is an aluminum rod down the center hole of the male shaft that keeps the 2 male parts from falling,when i use the 3rd channel to hook up the rear drive the servo keeps pressure on it until the shafts line up like the steering servo tries to turn the wheels but is too weak until the car moves |
