Default LINKS....what are you using?

Ok, I just received my TLT kit in the mail today, and I started my project. I am using the Dodge Powerwagon body (wheelbase is just about 12in.). I bought Traxxas Revo links (part no. 5319) and the wheelbase is about 13 1/2 inches. What other links should I use? I also have a bronco body, which is just about the same wheelbase.

Bulu2 chassis
Tmaxx shocks
Tmaxx sliders
Pede tranny
Revo links
TLT axles
Moab 2.2 with HPI wheels
Bronco or Powerwagon body

Get these links and you should be right at 12.5" wb with the Bulu2.

Yes, they are a bit to long, therefore you have to shorten them. You will also need a drill and tap set to build them.

Not sure about the TXT link length, but the TRA5318 are about 1/4 inch shorter than the TRA5319 so that would get you down to 13" you may have to make some or drill holes in the stock chassis!

Later,
Jake

Like I said before, the Traxxas 5318 links with a Bulu 2 chassis will give you a 12.5" wb.

And the 5318 links are OVER a full inch shorter then the 5319 links.

5318 Specs: Length 4-1/16" (102mm) end-to-end

5319 Specs: Length: 5.4" (137mm) end to end including rod ends

i just made 4 links out of a thread rod and a brass square tubing, and you need to make the threaded rod a little bit longer for the ball cup to screw onto

That depends on what chassis you use, and you will still need a ruler.
