| TLT-1 PRP bronco scaler
Hi here is my Tamiya TLT-1 With the PRP chassis conversion. Running gear:
The wheels and tyers in the first pics are HPi mt2 wheels with proline masher 2000's. Have added spme TG10 wheel axles to stop the wheels from coming off:-P Made my own roof rack out of sprue bits and speeker covers, and my first attempt at bungie cords (in later pics). Enjoy Flex shot |

when i played around with shock setups and added G-made beadlocks and CRP Block tyers, removed the springs and was running loads of droop. Hated those bumpers, so they were removed We got about 6 Inches of snow. Locked the center diff because is was not helping the crawling at all, uesd chemical metal to lock it. |

Here are the latest pics that i took this morning, with springs back on the B4 shocks my Masher 2000's boiled off the mt2 rims and put on my bead locks, homemade roofrack and bungie cords also installed, got a 12th scale chest off ebay to keep ropes in. skateboard and spare deck also. made a skidplate out of aliminum angle and 5mm sheet, protects the glass fibre chassis from the kerbs I cut the back window out and put netting across it, and the spare wheel is only temporary untill i get a more realistic wheel. P.S. i put some steel bar across the weak front links (chose steel because it will rust, cant wait:-P). Good Fun. EPIC FAIL Crawling really is the best part of the hobby isnt it. Pics arent bad considering its a 2megapixel phone cam, when i win the lottery i will get a better one :-P I am proud of my handy work it suvived 3 rollovers the chest protects it abit, bungie cords also stuck in the undergrowth. going to go out again later when the handset batteries are charged, they run out |

UPDATE: ran for about 1/2hour this evening, Managed to break all of the side bits of my roof rack, I 'forward rolled' it down my scale hill (it wasnt pretty) . forgetting that it is VERRY top heavy with masher tyers and scale accessories. Anyway... I sourced a rowing boat for the roof untill i can find time to fix the roof rack (My bungie cords that i made are really handy here it straps the boat down a treat) and will be painting axle links and knuckles matt black, might check bearings for water also ;)

| yes those are TLT axles and to be honest i dont know how they were locked, I have only had it a couple of months and have had no reason to take them apart. (YET lol), i can only assume they were packed with blue tack , super glue or screwed together i will let you know when i service them. Hope this helps ;)

Aweome looking TLT Bronco PRP makes some real nice stuff, just wish their products were easier to get. Eventually I would like to get my hands on one of those chassis. My friend had one for sale and I didn't jump on the opportunity and now I am kicking my self in the ass.

Very nice looking rig with cool scale bits ect. One question, you mentioned a CHASSIS conversion, and no pics of said chassis? I expected to see at least one nice detailed body off pic. |
