Default has n e one done this.........

i need help mounting a stealth tranny in a stock chassis and waswondering if n e has done it b4? and maybe help me out (pics and some instructions)

No but you can easily make a frame that will take a stealth tranny. I made mine with aluminum I got at the THC for $10 and I still have lots of scraps left over. I used the stock center supports. Thers no sense messing with the stock plates but if you do Im pretty sure that you would be able to find another set localy.I have a set still in the original package.

Yes, it can be done
No, you don't want to do it because of high center of gravity.
I have a stealth tranny in mine and it is tippy and doesn't have good ground clearance.

Here are some ways. Although it's a pede, it don't matter. You still gotta drill some holes.

Just put the plates together w/ posts & see where the tranny needs to go.
Measure Measure again drill & cut. Done.
