Looks pretty scale. The Goelandars with the Pede fronts make an awsome scale combo. Good work!

Nice looking rig! Looks like those are pede rear wheels, not fronts.

unless that is a seriously strong servo you might want to move the linkage up on the servo horn.

It looks like a fun scale toy though.

the reason its so far down the horn is b/c i was having trouble turning.. the truck just won't turn. i know its never going to turn tight with only a servo up front but it doesn't turn at all. so i moved the link as far down as i could and it turns better than none but still $hitty....

any ideas to make it turn better?

thanx

Stupid question but did you cut the bump stops?
Clod axles leave something to be desired when it comes to turning radius and without going to the aftermarket CVD axle shafts you just wont make it turn on a dime. I think you will find that on a trail it is better to have to back up numerous times and actually have a servo that turns the wheels. Just pull out the dremmel and turn the wheels to full lock and then start cutting.
Also check to make sure your steering linkage is not making contact with the gearbox.

Nice rig man, those tires and wheels look awesome!! yea that servo is gonna get killed with the servo arm like that, how much torque does it have? and try moving your upper steering link the other side closer to the servo... I had mine like is said but it was on the other side of the gearbox...

Later,
Jake

i cut the bump stops and when the servo isn't hooked up i move the wheels side to side and it just doesn't have the angle... so CVD's will make it turn more?

the linkage is about .5in from the case

the servo is a cheap-o but it turns the wheels great... and if it burns or breaks i have several more that i'll just pop in...

thanx

it doesn't take a pede tranny to build one of these...

if your going shafty you can use a pede,tc3,stealth,almost any buggy/truck tranny...

or

use clod axles like i did..

Have you noticed your front knuckles are different from each other?

One would be considered upside-down.
