thanks bro. not bad for oxy-accetylene welding which i havent done in like a year. yeah i kinda thought about that... if i get better axles later i can always thro them under there... i think im gonna tube the whole thing... like the cab and engine compartment cuz i really dont wanna buy a body... but we'll see... im likin this "panel" idea too... i have some really sick lookin "expanded" steel i could put on there that i think would look pretty nice... i gotta mod the axles a bit more so i can set up the links and a servo mount... haha im gonna go super ghetto on this one. i have an axle from another cheap rc which is geared pretty damn low so i think im gonna use it for my tranny. other than that ill jus hafta think up as i go. keep the comments/criticism comin!:-P

well here's a few more pix... the first is of the esc i picked up from the unversity today... cept i cant get it to go in reverse... it's an intellispeed 16T mild mod reversing esc... anyone know how to set these up? theres a reverse lockout on it but i dont know how to program it... im using a cheap tower hobbies system 3000 2 channel tx and rx... anything i hafta change on them to make it work? anyways, the next two are of the "tranny" im gonna use and the tranny in the frame... i kinda thew around some ideas about the front end of it and i think i came up with somethin i like so when i get some time im gonna do some more brazing on the frame.

jeeze guys... dont comment or suggest anythin for me lol... well i finally got to do the front end... and i like it... our stinger is extra big... like extra thick... it was the only material we had layin round that we thought was strong enuff to be a stinger... so yeah... i think it looks hella tight... LMK what u think.

P.S. the lil bar through the back is jus a counterweight... so that it doenst tip forward...

u like it without the stinger huh? hmmm... im kinda "maybe, maybe not" on the stinger so it might come off im not sure yet... lol yeah i hafta mod the other silver rims i hav so that they'll fit on the back axle (<--- thats not a serious "bird" its a teasing one...) ... i think im gonna end up goin with body panels because 1) i dont wanna buy a body and 2) i think it'll look better with panels
