| Aubie tube tlt build up
Well first off, hats off to Aubie for building an awesome chassis , this thing is really clean. This started out as clod project from Nitro RC Ed and I soon realized that clod axles just dont do that scale thing for me, even with 2.2s on it. So now I hooked it up with some tlt axles. Its sporting a Bender servo mount up front (another set is on the way for the rear) and currently sits on some badass RPM wheels that I just picked up. They have to be narrowed to work on a TLT but they have a great aluminum finish look. The Mashers are being swapped out for some Moabs once the LHS gets them in. It has traxxas aluminum shocks and some traxxas links and some custom links as well. I have a pede trans waiting to drop in. Itll have a Rooster ESC and JR 590z servo. I need to shorten the front links a bit, its got some pretty good flex already though...here are a few pics of the progress.... Mike Last edited by 1BadJeepBruiser; 01-24-2006 at 01:34 PM. Did you move the tabs for the side panels and add the front stinger hoop?

I like it, nice and simple. Aubie builds some nice looking rigs. I bet it's nice and light. That way you can put the weight where you want it.

Not bad looking, but just doesn't look like it would take a hard shot too well :? EDIT- The more I look at it, the more it resembles Bastard Jr. alot.. Just lean the top over and ya have the same truck Last edited by TwistedCreations; 01-25-2006 at 05:58 PM. |

That's kind of what I was doing - what ever parts I had sitting on the bench... Looks like you have a nice start on it. The stinger was added when tuber was ordered. Glad you like it - just had to many projects going on at one time and had to thin down some. Think as of now I have sold off about 5 or so crawlers. Now I can focus on a couple others. later, Ed |
