Default RCP-Tracks scale crawlers & foam course.

John from RCP-Tracks contacted me to build him 4 scale crawlers to run on a custom foam crawling course he is building. The plan was to make 4 scale crawlers similar to what you would see on a crawling trail.

They were originally supposed to be 50/50 rigs with the standard RBX chassis but due to errors out of my control I had to make due with what I had and finish them as cloase to the dead line as possible (dead line was yesterday). Thanks for the help assembling the rigs halfcab!

Here are the details and pics.

12"+ WB
~3" center clearance
RBX chassis
Locked TLT axles
Locked Pede tannies
60/40 link setup
45T Lathe motor
64 pitch 120T Spur / 16T pinion
Narrowed RPM wheels
Maxx shocks, front have 2.5 coils removed
Hitec 645MG servos (2WS)
4oz of lead shot in each tire

That looks cool. Looks like they came out of some kind of sick crawler cloning machine.

About the foam courses. I have a guy that does rock facing for buildings and was going to let me have any leftovers so I could build a course in my yard. I will post how it goes. Supposedly falls along the lines of foam/concrete as well.

With halfcab's help I would say there is at about 24 hours into each build. That includes painting adding stickers to the bodies (not my favorite thing to do).

This was supposed to be a assembly line bolt to gether process but it wasn't.

I added links to the rest of the pictures in my fist post, here they are again.

1badjeepbruiser - I had a few of the sticker saved for these rigs. YGPM.

Wow I like the idea of a foam course. How is he making it? The rigs look pretty badass but I am a sucker for a scaler. How long did you have to build all of them? -Will
