| thinking of narrowing my J2-TT chassis
Just as the title of the thread says... I am thinking of narrowing up my J2-TT comp chassis about 1/2 inch or up to a full inch (not likely), mostly to increase the triangulation in the links, and to get beefier parts like my shocks further away from my new Rover tires. Anyone else tried this? I am a pretty big fan of my chassis, but the new tire setup has quite a bit of rubbing going on at full steer lock, and this is with the stock outdrives! |

Not on that chassis but I have narrowed many to accomplish the same things you are trying to do. Do it, it will help. The motor will hang out the side more is all.

I have a clod super I am thinking about turning into a monster truck basher. I have looked at the clodzilla chassis before, but have been looking at the CPE chassis.I dont have much money to spend, so cost is a big factor for me. I can pick up a clodzilla chassis pretty cheap on ebay. What would some of you recomend for a good basher chassis on the cheap?
