Do you still have the stock ESC/Rx???? I might need a new one after chopping my antenna wire on my current one...

Looks good too. I don't know if its something you'd want to use, but I used 4-40 threaded ball studs and put them on the lower link mounts and in the outermost holes already on the chassis (with a 1/4" spacer) and then mounted the stock shocks with those instead of the incleaded ball screw. It gives a more even layout of the shocks and pretty good artic.

Hey thanks alot for the props.

MRRC, for the links I used 4-40 threaded rod with associated ball ends with some really nice heavy wall aluminum tubing from the hobby shop and just drilled the hole in the tubing just big enough for the rod to slide through. Did the same with the drive shafts, cut JBwelded the originals inside the heavy tubing...

PWT,

I actually do have the ESC/RX but after buying a new HS-85MG servo last weekend I hooked it back up to her and some reason the servo locked to the right and it smoked the ESC. Also thanks for the input on the mounting locations...

mrrc, All I did was use the original design and stretch it out a little. That way there is no horizontal slop and give max articulation I'll take pics of the links tonight and post them. I've got it all tore apart and am half done with my steel tube chassis.

This is my top link setup. Just 4-40 rod and associated ball studs and caps.
Hope this helps....

Well for the drive shafts I just cut them in half and JB welded the halfs into a piece of aluminum tubing that the shafts JUST fit into. I used associated ball studs and cups along with some 4-40 Threaded rod and then did the same with the aluminum tubing over the threaded rod. This way you can make the length any size you want. No real hard things about it, just a little time.

As for staying with the 3 Link, why not? For me it seems to work just as well as a 4Link. Take a look at the new pic I posted. Almost a full 90 degrees of articulaion.

If you all have any question feel free to ask.

Adam

Oh here is another pic, narrowed tires(first time) and trinity wheels...

Yup the trinity monster tires or whatever they call them.... Oh and the chassis and tires and wheels are not on there permanently. The chassis will be redone when I get my bandsaw together....

Quick question for you, are the trinity wheels larger in diameter than the VMG wheels? If so could you measure the diameter?
