I really like the TLT's for scalers. They are easier to get a good look with the tires tucked in under the body. What kind of info are you looking for? I currently have 5 scalers running the TLT's. Depending on how rough you are going to be on yours, will determine how much you need to upgrade them. I have two that are still running completely stock TLT's with the exception of bearings. I would really look into some straight axle adapters for the rear, and some aluminum knuckles for the front. If you plan on being rough with it I would also look into some aluminum C's, or have some spare axle cases on hand. RCP makes some nice axle truss'/link mounts, or it is fairly easy to make your own 4 link mounts. The third gear trick is the easiest for locking them. Also be sure to shim the gears. |

Frankly they blow and no one uses them, That is why the TLT subforum is here, so everyone can post their build threads that don't use TLT axles and how bad they suck. If you actually browsed through the TLT section, I'm sure you could answer your own question. |

A little late for that, everybody and their brother was running TLT axles before Axial, and when Ultimate Hobbies was blowing em out the door at $79 bucks. RCP has CVD's and nice R&P's for em to make them bullit proof. |

| The only way i use TLT axles, is if it fits the body width, as axial axles are too wide for smaller 1/10 scale stuff.

you could try the alloy housings but when you can just buy aluminum Cs from RCPcrawlers or Montana Scale Designs, the housings are kind of a waste of money.
