| Fisrt tuber and bronco body
My buddy is in the process of building his first tube chassis. Here are the firdt stages of the build. I found this new bronco body at Kmart on that little chassis. It's the kind that turns while in reverse. But I couldn't pass it up for ten bucks. Comments welcome. Thanks. |

Hey brian, do the tires rub any on the new body? looks like the rear might be cuttin it a lil close. Mike looks like hes off to a good start, but isnt that gonna put his weight up a little high on the truck? even with a lay down tranny...the cog is still gonna be pretty high. And does it flex good still, the shocks look a little too verticle. Cant wait to see then both run! |

It's finally done. The body was lying on the chass!s !n the p!cs. Body s!ts H!gher now. Tires don't rub at all. Well at a couple of odd angles they did a little but I think it's going to be fine. Didn't want to cut any on it anyway. Mikes is a little high. It does have good ground clearance but won't know until he gets it all together. drive shafts may be a little difficult. Flex is good but he's still got some rearranging to do with links and stuff. Hope it's done soon so we can go out and run.

Yea, the links on the tube chassis won't work the way they are mounted. They might allow for some flex, but won't allow any up/down axle movement. The links need to be mounted as close to parallel as possible. Looks good though. |
