Default I got bored again...

So, I have had this old TCS Gopher chassis laying around for a few years, and since switching the comp rig over to Axial axles, I have this fairly bullet proof set of tlt's laying on the shelf....hmmm, what to do?!

ROCK RACER!!

I'll start posting pictures as I build it.

Ingredients:

1 TCS Gopher Chassis w/RED powdercoat

1 pair built tlt axles w/MIP CVDS, Fat Rocks C's and RCP rear lockouts

1 Summit 2-speed tranny

1 Mamba Max

1 Mag Mayem Motor (22T i think)

1 HS-7980TH

1 HS-?? I'll figure out what to use for the shifter later...servo's? ya, I got some...

wheels/Tires? Not sure yet have a few choices. Probably grooved flat irons on VP's.

Traxxas Big Bores 70/30 droop/sprung w/40wt oil to start.

Radio? duh, hitech.

Custom links and revo rod ends.

MIP Drive shafts

....more when I figure out what I am missing!!

Ok, since it only took about an hour and a half to build, I skipped the build pictures, but if you have questions, ask!!

Wound up going with a straight pede tranny I had laying around, 86t spur, 16t pinion at the moment on a 27t trinity handwound. On a 2S it's fast, and wheelies and endo's at will. On 3S, it's stupid, and I am gonna break something in a hurry. Wheels are temporary, gonna put a lighter setup with 1.9's here soon, probably rockloks or flatirons on proline titus beadlocks, we'll see.

Red X's man

EDIT: now I see them.
Always hated that chassis, good one to go beat the crap out of though. How are things going in Vegas by the way. Miss the Bay area?
