Default The Rockstar Build

So I built a chassis a long time ago and I'm finally getting around to finishing it off. I made some changes to the chassis, which will be shown later, but right now I have the body ready to rock

Hmmm, I love all of your work, but I don't really like this body. Show us some naked pics.

No I'll be either working on the Bronco if it's clear or hunting turkey if it's not. I doubt I'll have the chassis done by then.

The cool thing about the body is I can cut off most of the fenders and still have 70% of it intact

Whaaaaat??? You aren't going to be hanging with the Nor-Cal boys anymore or what? We missed you at the first comp and all the trail rides. The last few have been a blast with so much terrain.

I sure wish you would change your mind. It's gonna be fun.

Ok here's the finished prototype of the chassis. The next one will be fully machined instead of partially and have any minor changes I find after crawling this one.

That looks good Dave, I like the design, nice and simple with a good amount of flex.

Default The Hot Rod Crawler

So I've shortened the wheelbase to just under 12" to fit the body. It looks a lot better now. The wheels will be changed to something a bit more flashy.

Looks nice, I wish I had two TLTs now, scaler and full crawler.

It looks alot like a RBX but its quite a bit different, this chassis looks taller and thinner than the RBX thats the only things i see at the moment though

my original design I finished just a few days before the RBX debut. pretty similar

The similarity kept me from selling any of them, why have two chassis so close together. It didn't make sense to me.

Anyway on to some more pics with it's new wheels.

SO I'm thinking of running some associated shocks like I have on the truggy to soften up the suspension. It's a bit stiff fir the weight of the chassis.
