X2 I have run both masher 2000's and moabs on the same rig over the same obstacles and same rig and the 2000's always do a little better...damn this may be the first thing we actually agree on!

From what I've noticed regarding Capen when comparing Moabs to M2Ks is that it greatly depends upon the area of Capen you are wanting to crawl. For example, remember at the comp before last when Kelly set up two courses at Capen? The first course was perfect for using the M2Ks. The second course SUCKED for using them (ask Tony...he'll tell you ) I'll be interested in seeing how the Reds do on Sunday.

Well now that the XL4 chassis development work in done and is available to the public, I am moving on to my next project.

I have been asked to do the testing and some R&D on the new XRC chassis from Insanerc.

So the Grunt as you now see it will be set aside for a while (plans for it in the future) and I will be running the XRC 2.2 chassis.

I want to thank RD 400 for the awesome chassis and hope that everyone who uses it, enjoys it.

I also want to thank Insanerc for choosing me to test his new chassis. I am very excited about the opportunity.

A few of the details

TLT axles (duh)
XRC chassis
Associated B4 Stealth tranny
Revo shafts (BEEFY)
HH Revolver BL motor
Mamba 25 ESC
Tower Pro MG 955 servo
Pro Line Moab/Mashers
and a few other things I will be testing!

So until the new build, that's it for the Grunt!

Dez

Thanks, I think your thinking of my Super w/ the Rubi body. It has been replaced w/ a CJ8 and the Grunt is my 2.2.

This is a great pic that Brian, one of the members of CMRCRC took at our comp Saturday. This gate is literally on the edge of a 100+ foot drop off and there was no room for error! Made for an exciting gate!

That was a very hard gate. We actually almost lost a truck off the cliff as it flopped over backward on that gate. Joe made one heck of a run and was only a few points from the win. He beat me by roughly 50 points as it seemed all my truck wanted to do was lay on it's back and flop around like a fish out of water.

Yeah, that gate was awesome! Although the pucker factor was a full 10!
