Alot of people run the Tmaxx links. They are really strong and about the right length for most applications. Traxxas rod ends are nice and cheap. I haven't broken one yet. As for the 4links themselves, you can run 1/4 or 5/16 aluminum rod with some kind of all thread insert, like 4-40 or 8-32. There's another thread in general crawlers if you want some more ideas. |

I use 6-32 threaded rod with no tube to cover them. Very easy to cut and bend to make high clearence links. Haven't bent one yet, in the TLT or in the 10lbs Maxx. I'm too lazy to drill and tap aluminum rod when I could just cut some threaded rod to length in about 30 seconds. |

i Use 1/4" solid al. rod and then tap it and add end rods. I can do 8 links in like 20min.
