Mike, I travelled 1300 miles to go to that comp at FOLSOM LAKE, and then another 5 hours in badger's mog, it was TOTALLY worth it! Some of the best crawling I have ever seen. Get a plane ticket, ship your crawlers out, you won't regret it at all, I don't. I am already planning my Folsom Lake trip for next year.

And the jeep did well for its first outing, I popped a driveshaft off on the first course after falling off a cliff into a deep hole and tried to drive it out lol. Second course I tapped a cone, and had a role but did ok. Third course I smoked, ran through it in 1:34 and scored 11. After that I had to leave and didnt get to see anyone else run. Ended up 4th overall, my best position yet

Lots of changes, just never updated this hehe. New body, tires, wheels, brushless, suspension setup, axle c's, steering setup, battery location blah blah. Put me in 15th at the nationals, and a 1st and 2nd place finish in the nor cal series since then. Finally got it dialed!! |
