Default Grover/azvader and microgoat Inspired TLT.

Now that my scale crawler is finished it was time to use up my other pair of TLT axles. I saw azvaders thread about Grovers non cross-memeber chassis. I love the simplicity and cleanliness of the chassis, serious ingenuity.

I started working on the chassis a few days ago and got it a roller tonight, here are some specs and pics of it so far.

specs:

Pede tranny
55t lathe
rooster
Pede sliders

60/40 link setup

Hacked TXT body

2.2 moabs(coming soon)

(using borrowed tires from my other TLT)

pic of the rear links

The FBS(Farm Boy Special) body lives on!!!

Body off shots are coming soon.

Here it is, when I built the chassis i didn't plan on running a 60/40 setup, I didn't off set the tranny so the the rear shocks are layed back a bit more then the front.

Im not sure if im going to keep the rear links they take away ground clearance but do give it a unique look. I'm kicking around the idea of a high clearance drive line setup and high clearance links.....

A lot more work and changes to be done......this is step one of many, I'll keep you posted.

Default Brilliant !!!! ( say it like the Guinness guys )

Very nice !!!! I like the shock mounts at the chassis beam. I've been working out what to do on V.2, microgoat's upper link location and your angled shock mounts.

You'll need to stand those rear shocks up or you'll get some unwanted torque roll. Some spacers between the shock and chassis should do.

As well as this design works, we're going to see a lot more hangers in the coming years. Looks good.

thanks for the compliments and ideas.

Im trying a standard 50/50 link setup that should stand up the shocks, but im also going to run a shorter shock.

I'll have some more pics up in a few.
