Default Cartronicshn's fj-40 build

So i started this build a while ago to try and build my own chassis, i went through 3 design changes and this last attempt seems to be working really well, right now it's made of thick plexi i had laying around, i will have it cut out of aluminum when it becomes a final design.

Parts list
- tlt axles
- r2 tranny
- eritex transfer
- mamba 25
- c.c. bec
- tamiya fj 4o body
- 3013 outrunner
- hpi stock car wheels with scale shop rings
- pro line flat iron
- acoms 4ch reciever/radio
- led light kit

I am not sure if this is to much torque twist, my links are not binding, the tranny shafts seem to have a good angle, shocks are tlt's so maybe they are to soft? short video lmk your opinions, the vid is only for start up in forward and reverse .

Video as soon as photbucket is ready

I have no idea wtf is up with Photobucket, but anyways i found what the problem was, the hpi wheels and hexes i was using when tightened all the way down was scrubbing i only loosened the wheels maybe a 1/4 of a turn on the nut and all my problems were solved, i can no focus on building an interior for it.

Awesome rig! Glad to see another still being used!
Did you ever finish an interior for it?

I finally dissasembled for maintance the tlt's and found no grease on them, so when putting back together i noticed play on the pinion, took it apart again and found the pinion gear is loose on its shaft, but i think they are only hard pressed??

I believe so, yes
I only run the stock ones, but I’ve never noticed any problem or looseness

I had mine come loose - cleaned it really good, added some JBWeld and it's solid as a rock. It is fixable.
