I keep searching around and the scale early Broncos from TLTs are just too sweet not to build one - especially after I saw that Imex makes the Swamp Dawg in 2.2s. I would plan on using a Blackfoot tranny I think, in a custom chassis. What are a lot of you guys using for chassis? I was almost thinking about trying to do a fairly realistic chassis using square tubing or L pieces - something along those lines. The biggest thing I am wondering is how I would mount the tranny. If you have an close up pics that would be great.

Look at Grizzly4x4's post. Thats one of the most realistic chassis's I've ever seen on any RC.

I'm building my first TLT-1 now on the Penguin P2300 CF chassis. My second will be on the Team PRP chassis! Wish I had the coin to do a Bruiser/Mountaineer based truck like Grizzly4x4's! |
