The TA-04 and TA-05 share the same suspension. Also, tower lists the TA-04 parts in the TA-05 parts list: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...I=TAMC0355&P=Z I'm getting the ones from rcmart, can't beat the price. |

perhaps we should try the wire swap on a ratty old servo?? i haven't tried it myself, so just in case... while we're at it, is anyone aware of better kingpin screws for a tlt? mine are almost stripped out to the point of not being useable. it looks like the bolt headed titanium upgrade ones don't fit, acccording to all the tamiya literature. maybe if one of these other knuckles fit, the better screws will then fit also.... |

Check this out. TowerHobbies gives the TLT-1 and the TA-05 the same Item numbers for the knuckles. They are the same thing. There is no reason way the RCMART.com alloy TA-05 knuckles won't work. Here is the list of them both. Scroll done yourself and check it out. RCmart items come across the Sea so it will take a long time. I orderd parts from them and it took almost 3 weeks for knuckles. Plus they harrassed me for my credit card # when I paid them with Pay Pal. I told them to ship it to the Pay Pal address. It's a confirmed address!! It was a major PITA. FYI: The quality of those aluminum parts across the Sea and from cheaper Aluminum. They still work, just not high grade. |

I've ordered a set of the Yeah Racing TA-05 axles for the rear of my SW2 and for my buddy's SW2, we already have the Topcad TLT knuckles on the front...so we'll see how they fit when they get here. For 27 Australian dollars shipped (thats about 20 bucks to you guys) for 2 pairs, its not going to hurt if they dont fit for some reason...although I'm sure they will fit because the stock knuckles for the TLT and the TA-05 are the same part number! Yeah, they are pretty cheap, like $7 USD a pair.. so with shipping, it is still less than $20! | |

Ok so I got the knuckles in the mail today. They are really great quality, probably as good as the Topcad ones for 1/2 the price. The only downside is the anodizing between two of the knuckles is a slighty different colour, most probably because they were made in different batches. No big deal for a 10 dollar part, and I'll be stripping mine back to silver eventually anyway They are EXACTLY the same as the stock knuckles in every dimension They fit perfectly.
