I find it hard to believe because the knuckles I have are of good quality, and in the past when I've bought GPM gear for my other RCs, most of it didnt fit properly at all.

The worst was the GPM parts that I tried on my brushless Mini-T....they were garbage!
Never had a problem with GPM fit or finish, I have several GPM products.

Thanks for your help ,I have been in touch with asia tees ,they seem to think they may have been packaged wrong, when I fit one of the 2 knuckle king pin screws the 2nd one doesnt line up, it will line up and go in if i push the knuckle fowards or backwards but then the drive cup binds and the knuckle is tight to steer, JOHN,

Well it is coming from ASIA! Hang in there, before you know it, you'll be sporting some blinged out knuckles too!

Got mine today from rcMart! BUT, I got a pair in silver and a pair in gunmetal!! They don't match!! I guess I will put the gunmetal one in the back then.. ARGH!!

I know it does not affect the function or anything, but still, I'd prefer them having the same color..

Will try them out tonight to see if they indeed fit the TLT! (these are the TopCAD TA05 knuckles)

Do they seem to turn all the way? Or does there need to be some trimming done? Lets see some more angles of them.

Tamiya shows the TLT-1 hubs are TA04 hubs. If you look on the back page of the TLT-1 manual, under parts code you'll find part #50867 TA04 C parts (Front Upright) (C1 & C2, 1 PC.)

Got my aluminum knuckles last night and they seems to fit the axle fine.. I do find that it seems to push the outdrive inward a little bit so you don't turn as much.. while I don't know if it is necessary to be turning that much, I am just saying that compare to stock steering knuckles, the TopCAD TA05 knuckles does not turn as much.. (slightly)

Also, when mounted, it seems to take more effort to turn.. I wonder if it is because now you can tighten the screw more now (as now you are screwing into an aluminum pieces, instead of plastic, where you can't really tighten it too much without stripping) or maybe the machining on the knuckles is slightly off (almost if the 2 holes are not perfectly straight that's causing a slight binding?) It will turn, but I just think it requires extra effort.. so I need to play with it somemore to make it fit well..

TLT, TA04, and TA05 all use the same knuckle.
