Default VMG front axle HELP! (pics)

well i got my VMG in pieces right now and im trying to get the stock size servo to sit on the front axle and so far so good! but the thing im having problems with is that i cant seem to get the knuckles to turn proper when i flipped them around?? anyone know how you do this so you can run the servo up front??

You have to cut a slot into the axle. Basically 2-3mm on both halves so the steering knuckles can pivot. I just used some wire cutters.

You're more than likely going to have to remove part of that bumper so your servo saver won't hit.

ok so i have to cut a notch in the axle case?? yea i noticed it was larger on one side then the other, i was just curious if there was a proper way of doing this without hackin at it i get my new dremel for christmas since my old one died on me :(

also how did you mount your reg size servo on your mini-g??

Like I said, a dremel isn't needed, I used wire cutters and they cut through the plastic fine.

ok just finished cutting away some of the plastic on the knuckle and case so it can turn nice and clear proper, how does this look?

Looks good, but do you have enough throw each way? I tried to match how much throw the truck had before to what I modded it to, and i had to take out part of the screw hole to do so, and yours are intact, that's why I ask.

i took it all apart when i did this so it would be all equal yea i just put it together for the pic!
