Default Motor for TLT

Would a magnetic mayhem motor fit on a TLT that has an extended wheelbase? Would Lathe motor? Would any stock 27 turn?

The MM and lathe motors are 540-size motors so both will work. Any 540 size motor will fit.

Don't own a TLT but aren't MM's a little longer than normal?

Dunno how tight the motor mount is in a TLT...

Lathe motors are actually a little shorter than normal.

Several peeps are running the MMs. They fit, but I don't recall any mods having to be done to the chassis or radio tray because they are longer. Should be a simple drop-in motor.

Mag Mayhems are 550 which is a little bigger. It should fit, the motor cut out in the chassis seems a little longer than nessecary. I personally like the Multiplex 600, but that might be too long for the stock TLT chassis and tranny.

I thought the MMs were 540s.

A MM will fit in a stock TLT. I have, opps, had one in mine when it was together. It will also go back in the modded truck until I find something else that I might like better.
