ya I came up with it b/c I don't have a computer in the Shop. I was getting tried of running in the house to find info. I was thinking of printing it out in color and making a TLT-1 Bible..And selling it. I have everything in there from, Putting the axles together, what parts exchange with others and what ones don't, Building Tubers, How to 4-link, and alot more. Plus 50+ Pictures. I will be adding close up shots of my Tranny when I get it all done.

Don't forget to properly credit people if you're using their writeups and of course watch for copyrights (assuming you're selling it like you said).

Got my Servo's in today. Blue Bird 620...144oz @ 6v for only 15 bucks. If they break. I'll just upgrade then, but if they last it was worth it.

That's an awesome looking wiring diagram

I thought it was a nice looking one too. Well I had some Saftey Silv 15 given to me to try on my tube chassis. Well It didn't work. I wasted about 2 hrs in the shop and got nothing done. I was pissed. I sanded the brakeline down really well. The Silv 15 was melting and forming around the joint and it would stick to the brakeline. I could pick it up and it seemed to hold, but if I tapped on it with the file it would come apart. What I'm I doing wrong? I about to call it quits and just buy someone after market chassis.

I made a few little changes to my cage design. The red lines are the shocks. I will be making a few extra for friends. I will make them out 3/16 solid rod and mig welded.

Ok here are the parts need to change your Stealth RC10GT to a B4. All the gears and bearings swap over. You might want to get a screw kit as well. These are the parts I'm waiting on. I think this is all that is needed.

If the case needs to be changed over to a B4 Part #9574

The motor need Part #9600

Alright I tore into my Stealth Tranny to lock it up. I have heard a few different ways to lock it up. One was to just replace the diff washers with sand paper and tighten it down. The other was to us JB Weld. Well I didn't have any JB Weld laying around and I just did use all my sandpaper I had laying around too. So all I did was removed the Diff gear. I took all the Diff balls out. Removed the all the grease and cleaned everything reallly well. I left out the Diff washers and just put it back together. I tighten it down as tight as it can go. I stuck a screw driver in the yoke and held the spur gear by hand and turned the yoke with the screw driver. It didn't slip one bit. I tried many times to get it to slip but with no luck. Now I don't know if it will last. Only time will tell. If it does slip later I will just cut some sand paper up and place in there where the diff washers were. Here are some pic's of the tranny opened up.

The servo's came from rcmart.com.....I can't say if they're any good yet, but the price was right.

Well I talked to TowerHobbies today. I'd ended up getting the wrong Stealth case and they just sent out my B4 case today. Should be here on the 17th. Can't wait. While I'm waiting to get my tuber done I'm working on the stock TLT chassis to run a Stealth tranny with my 14in Wheelbase. I have also made up my mind and will be running behind the axle steering on the front. This is all I have done with the TLT chassis so far. I will be selling this when my tuber is done aswell.

He is the Comp style I was looking at. Something light weight and strong. Basically just enough there to mount and tranny and shock hoops. It would look alot like this one but with a chopped top. (There's no driver so there's no need for that extra height.)

Here are some of my favorite tuber I have seen here on RcCrawler.

i have used the bluebirds on alot of my crawlers, never broke one. you can get the metal gear ones on ebay for cheap, and ive seen somewhere you can buy 10 at a time and the metal gear ones end up costing like $16 bucks a piece.

I'm looking at the pictures of your tranny and it's the GT case?
The T4/B4 tranny case has a tab on the bottom that needs to be counter sunk while the GT cases don't. Also the T4/B4 case will need stand off's to bolt down tight while the GT case will bolt down flat.
I pulled my tranny out of my T4 thinking it will drop in to mine and I ran into this problem.

Here on pages 7 and 8 show the B4 tranny...http://209.245.59.38/Gimme/15133313/...tb4_manual.pdf

Alright I got my B4 Tranny case in and I was swapping my GT gears over into the B4's case. Well I came across a little problem. One is I need a Top shaft spacer no big deal. Second is the idler and the top shaft gear don't make enough contact to spin. The mesh seems to be fine with the Diff and Idler gear. The thrid problem is that when the GT's idler gear is in the B4's case it doesn't close all the way. It's real close, but won't close. Here are the pic's of what I have. The top is the B4 case and the bottom is the GT Case. The gears are to the right. Starting at the top is the Diff gear, middle gear is the Top Shaft and the bottom one is the Idler gear. ( I know there not in the right order. Thats just where I placed them when I took them out.)

Here is a pic of the GT Gears in the B4 case.

One more thing does the B4 not have bearings for the idler shaft. Well I'm stumped. I have no clue what I need. My guess is that I need a B4 idler gear/Shaft and the Top shaft for a B4.
