I run delrin links on my XL4, the delrin part of the links are only 3.5 inches long so you don't get much flex.

Creepie, I will post up pics of mine in your thread later if you don't mind, got it all done with the bug body on it

Ok so i changed some stuff rewired the esc to the motor and i made a new batt getting it running.....o and it runs amazing i have a novak spy and its super sensitive and you feel really in control!! . I fixed the steering both the cross member and the upper cross link to sit on top of the knuckles. then i moved around the links on the back so the lower links sit straight giving me move clearance for the under back appoarch. and i moved around the front links with the help of RD so my drive shaft wasnt at such a extreme angle. also i put emaxx shaft in the back. i think that is for now. next cut the body mount and fit the body on. i have some pics and clips!!

New steering.

This picture is hard to make out, but im trying to show the new spots for the links

Back drive shaft link shot!

little crawl action

over all im 190% satisfied with everything, mainly the chassi. BIG thats to Dez for telling me about RD400s chassi and helping me get ahold of him and a even BIGGER thanks to RD for everything, building, being there with help and hint at any hour of the day, hes just get to work with . i might end up changing are the red rock tires (they truely arent that good) and the internal shocks i made (there more for a scale project, if you crawled with them you would under stand)
thanks again to RD400 and DEz and to all for reading i will have body shots up soon and i will post up good shots after this up coming so cal gtg

HAHA they look like PEE. I most likely will be getting masher 2s because i FAWKED up and naworred the yellow rims before i got my red rocks and so they to much "Extra baggage" on the side walls. Also theys not enough foams. But i really like the size so i might get 2.2 all-ts....IDK

1)how do the pullers crawl?
2)how tall are the pullers?

the pullers work great!! anything that gets in there path, they crawl, They do have a down side tho. since the lugs are just straight with no cuts in them, when you come up to a spot where you have to turn on a rock they slide off. Besides that they work awsome on any thing dirt, wood, rock, water-mud, and sand. i boiled them when i first got them to soften a little. I believe there 5" even. there a little under the red rocks and all-ts

I was wondering if maybe siping the treads would help the pullers sidehill a bit better.

4-cell huh? I have been toying with running 5-cells (running 6 now, but the 6th cell is way out of balance). I am using a Novak XRS, only run Novak ESC's... If they only made an Atom with reverse, I would be in crawling heaven (the Atom was probably the best 12th scale Pan car ESC made).
