Thanks, This thing is really starting to come together.
I ditched those tiny tlt shocks and went with adjustable
XTM's. Much better!
I got the trans and rear end almost done.
I gotta play with the rear upper links a bit.
I have a idea. Just gotta see if its gonna work.
Do you know if any one has tried this?

I thought about doing an upper link using a Maxx A-arm, but never tried it. Nice work. Is there any side to side movement of the axle with that set-up?

Good idea, can provide a decent mount for a reciever too if you have clearance up there.

I still have to attach the a-arm to the frame, but it seems like it's going to work. I guess I have to get it all together to find out the answer to some of your questions. I gotta work today so probably won't get more work done until tonight or tomorrow.
I'm glad you guys like it.
I will post more pics when I get more work done.

Okay a bit of a update:
I cut and attached the a-arm to the frame.
Wow! It looks and works great. No side to side movement at all.
The cool thing is with a few turns of a allen wrench I can
adjust the stiffness of the suspension. That along with the adjustable shocks
allows for quick suspension adjustments.

Talking Update

Okay here are some more pics that show how it's attached.

By tightening the ball joint cap the suspension stiffins.
Eventually if this works I will get the a-arm and knuckle in aluminum
and have my buddy machine a new axle plate.
maybe blue to match the shocks. It works great, but how will it climb?
We shall see.

Thanks for looking

Thanks West Coast. It works pretty good so far.
Trying to decide if I'm going to do it to the front or just stick with 4 link.
Kinda hard to mount the servo up there.
Gonna start on the front end tonight.

when are we going to start seeing the camo panels? the alan wrench is very inovative but why would you went ot stiffen the suspension, wouldn't that just limit articulation

Articulation hurts some times. Extreme side hilling for one. If the suspension is to soft it could tip over sooner.

Well like I said it was made for a Scrambler and I dont know when I will find one. Some guys selling a NIP one in the for sale section for $95.00, but thats crazy when I need to cut it anyway.
Besides the panels and scale details are last.
I got to get it to function first.
Thanks for looking.
