Well I got alot done yesterday. Thought I'd post some pics. With these solid Revo lower links and 2 a-arm uppers. I'm at 14" wb x 11" wide. I can't find a scrambler / C-J8 body for under 90.00 bucks So I went with a old LC body. I still have alot to do, but it's coming together. The 3 link set up flexes nice! Thanks for all the positive feed back guys... I got two problems right now. With these wheels and adapters my barrel nuts are too long. So I got the small nylon lock nuts, but they keep coming loose. Also I need to mount the front servo up high so I can still adjust the ball joint. Any suggestions on either subject are appreciated. Greg Last edited by Reef; 06-22-2006 at 11:24 PM. |

awesome pics GREG, can you put that post in the unimog shop thread too? thanks for the great shots. Truck is looking very nice. Idea for the servo, make a plate underneath the hood mount the servo upwright and make a drag link down to the axle, then you could use a turned down tlt shock as a steering stabilzer. I know, alittle over the top, but hey, why not. |

Just mount the servo to one side or mount it facing down.
