Default My new TLT chassis

Well since Alice took ownership of my the lil truck I did last month. I needed to build a new one. I based this chassis of my other one, with shock and arm locations in the same place....it is jsut as compact but much lighter about 4.5 oz. total weight including screws and upper arm mount hardware.

cut out with my plasma cutter and hand finished. I thought the black screws look pretty good with the black fibered ABS and alum sides. NOw to build the upper arm axle standoffs and 1/4" alum solid arms.......anyone got a set of juggy or TXT or TLT axles the might one to part with

I designed it low only and as narrow as I could, its very ridgid and can be used with any of the trannies Ive got laying here, stealth with is in the pics, kyosho ST, Losi X's or pede......the chassis is offset to the front for a 60/40 weight bias.....whatcha think?

This is easy to drill the diamond plate would look sick but be a pain to drill, you would have to drill to all from the back side, then clean up the drill holes from the front.

Is it just the picture, or are the upper links longer than the lower links?
Unique upper link mounts for the axle.

the upper links are 4mm shorter than the lowers. The axle upper link mounts use the stock axle holes and the spread allows me to place the battery packs modified flat and around the servos........lowers the CG by a ton...I have the same mounts on my other truck. they also make it 100% stable side to side and zero bind, very smooth action

see the standoffs on the rear axle and the 2/3a battery packs 7 cell wrapped around the servo?

Must be an optical illusion. Do you mount the battery on top of your servo? Or break the pack into smaller sections?
