| Daddyduck,s tlt-1 scaler build
Well I got a basically brand new rock buster today. The guy really took care of it. It has a real fast motor in it with Jr fm radio. Looking foward to building a sweet truck out of it. I have built Axial trucks wheely king crawlers and scalers. A txt1 and a tundra. So I know a little. It around Tamiya toys. I really want to make a 1.5 scale out of it. I own a lot if jeep scalers I want to stay with jeeps. The only ones I don't have is the jk 4d and the rj speed one. Which do you think? Is the rj speed one big enough? It looks old school. Sent from my HTC HD2 using Tapatalk |

I just got a dingo body for my tlt. My chassis fits it perfect. I might be able to get away w/ Velcro attaching body. If u still wanna use my chassis for a layout that's fine w/ me cuz it can be cut to size Sent from my cellular telebox |

That looks good! U gonna use the roll cage also? I gotta shorten my links 1/2" I think before I can mount my body right. I did de-anodize my beadlocks today at work. Green wasn't matching the orange Sent from my cellular telebox |

I bought this scaler last week, should get here by the weekend.. Hand made chassis running TLT axles through a axial tranny with Junfac shafts, alloy links. HPI shell with scale accessories and led lights, Gmade beadlocks with geolander tyres. Just hope it runns aswell as it looks.... Sean . .. Last edited by West Cork Basher; 03-06-2012 at 03:59 PM. |
