I'm building one of many projects, and I can't find the width of a tlt axle pin to pin. I need something from 5.5 to 6.5 inches wide hex to hex. Anything close will work. Not to be a suck up but this is by far my favorite site for rc info. I'm building two mad force based trucks, a rc4wd trex60 axle 2.2 crawler and a tonka pickup truck. Thanks for any help!

Can't believe so many people have viewed this and no one had an answer. Anyway well I just took one of my many TLT axles and installed some 4mm thick hexes to get the narrowest width is 7" hex to hex. I also measured them with some 1.55 tires and wheels and I'm at 8.5" track width. Look at MRC axles they are narrower than TLT just not sure how much. |

Thanks. I was considering losi mrc axles. I've tried to search the site for axle widths and not much for answers. It will find posts with the words axle and width but not axle width. I think someone should start a post. Otherwise I would buy a bunch of axles until I found what I need. Rc4wd has stuff but they are low on quality I have some of there stuff looks cool just doesn't seam to take the abuse. Plus I want leaf springs.

I have the TLT axles I just picked up out to clean and rebuild. 6.75" pin to pin, 7" hex to hex outside. Maybe MRC axles, but I can't find a spec.

If you are not committed to wheels, you can adjust width a little bit. I did that with my Mayhem wheels back in the day.

Thank you... guess I'm not going with the k44s... need, we'll want over 11 in a 1/6 scaler. My txts just aren't wide enough so looks like I'll be looking for kyosho solids Sent from my SM-A015A using Tapatalk |
