EeePee,

I have to say your truck is great!

And has inspired me to build a more scale rig. Using a type 3s as the base.

keep the updates coming ;)

Well that's great ronbeck. I'm glad it was an inspiration. I have to give credit where credit is due, and that's to Kaetwo. He designed the chassis, and I just built mine up with a few tweaks.

I'm now starting to think that the short length chassis is a better performer, but only because the chassis is tucked back away from the tires. The long chassis acts like a bumper that doesn't give, whereas with the shorty the body flexes out of the way, and the tires can hook up. If that made any sense...

Got me a new chassis for this thing. There's a slight weight difference. The shock mounts are drilled for a higher ride height, and I'm going with the high rider mode this time.

Looks sweet Kaetwo!

Still using the same shocks?

Or are you going to use the 90mm units?

Absolutely one of the best threads I've read. Great built I'm ready to read about the redo. Nice chassis' Kaetwo and good work EP and great feedback too from the rest of the guys. Very informative.

Thanks guys, it's a great truck. It was a great learning experience also.

The Tamiya TA03 low friction shocks are KILLER.

I have to admit though, I'm more fond of the long chassised K2-3 truck I have.
