working on first tlt i visited this web site and it got me started for making my first tlt. i am still waiting ot the truck to actually get here (2 weeks tommorow) i ordered it from hobbypeople.com. it should be getting here soon. i started to work on the chassis to make the team losi xx buggy tranny work since i had a spare laying in my basement.you might think why am i using 5" shocks instead of 4" the reason for this is where i live theres not a whole lot of rocks mostly a lot of trees, creeks(not a lot of rocks), and lots of hills so my cg is not my biggest concern yet, but if i need smaller shocks ill buy some. well this is what i came up with tell me what you think. ill keep you updated when i recieve my other parts. heres what all im using... tlt team losi xx buggy tranny locked (87t-13t) hpi rear shocks (77-117mm) 5" proline moab tires traxxas rustler front rims '73 bronco body homemade custom chassis ( if it dont work ill go with sw2) green machine 3 pro motor homemade carbon fiber 4 link suspension (spare arrow shafts) hitec 645mg servo (i think) lrp f1 super reverse esc heres a few pics (sorry for the crapy pics) http://img146.imageshack.us/my.php?image=10022960av.jpg http://img160.imageshack.us/my.php?image=10022941xr.jpg http://img293.imageshack.us/my.php?image=10022958dh.jpg ill keep you guys updated when i get the rest of my parts |
