Badd 08-02-2006 09:25 PM

Mud_Flinger 08-02-2006 09:31 PM

Very Nice. I'm gald that you like it. It'll be a better crawler with out that stock tlt tranny in there.

thaclodking 08-03-2006 02:37 AM

Looks pretty good. I Like the color, it contrasts well with the aluminum.

Brainstain 08-03-2006 02:55 AM

That's pretty sweet. I couldn't own something like that. It'd be a wasteful shelf queen.

bigtiresrbetter 08-03-2006 05:40 AM

Thats a pretty sweet tuber! I really like the tube link mount in that last pic

i am liking to color also ClodKing . i was thinking of repainting it but i am going to leave it alone. oh and RamBuller this is no Shelf Queen it willbe run Nucking Futs !! lol

rockmike 08-03-2006 11:15 AM

very nice tubers are cool:-P

Badd 08-03-2006 11:48 PM

well i worked on getting the pede tranny in tonite . i want to lay it down but it was just no way to do it . making the mounts was not hard. I used 1 1/2" alum. angle . I used the holes in the frame that was used for the stock tranny. it was still a very tight fit had to remove the ears on the tranny and set it abit to the front but it worked. now it look as if the frame was made for a pede tranny. i will try and get some more pics of it up soon .

CLODZIRRA 08-03-2006 11:55 PM

That's a sweet lookin rig ya got there :)

Badd 08-04-2006 02:01 AM

here is a link http://groups.msn.com/TeamM-C-RC-R-C...oto&PhotoID=14 showing a pic of the pede tranny in .like i said before it was a tight fit had to breakout the old shoehorn . lol I got to get the sliders done now .

Badd 08-09-2006 11:47 PM

i got the sliders done and the steering links made . i narrowed the wheels and put some of Unimoger's Rock Rings on .i got the batteries mounted . i put 2 on each side in the middle of the frame alittle bit closer to the front stacked on each other and 2 across the front axle end to end behind the servo. the super rooster looked out of place in there it was to big . so i got a novak XRS on the way . anyway a new pic for everyone . http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n...FutsTLT007.jpg

smokinubyrc 08-09-2006 11:54 PM

that last pic shows the shocks mounted to the links you might want to change that it has evry reson for torqe twisting out the A$$
but they are standing more upright then laid down so i dont really know how they react looks killer tho

Brandon 08-10-2006 09:12 AM

He will be ok as long as the springs are stiff enough. But you are right Marcus if its present its going to be hard to fight with the shocks mounted there.

RocJoc 08-10-2006 09:28 AM

awsome looking rig, another rig from boyer i met john last sunday at the Bradenville comp he had some chassis with him up there.

Badd 08-13-2006 02:21 AM

torque twist is really bad . this is my first shafty and man is it hard to get the twist out . as in the pics the shock are mounted to the links . my problem is the links roll causing the twist . try different springs / shock oil / even shocks . back to the drawingboard

run2jeepn 08-13-2006 01:33 PM

What do you mean your links roll causing the twist?

smokinubyrc 08-13-2006 04:21 PM

as i have stated move the shocks to the axles and mopve the top of the shock to the front hole on the mount they will be laid back a little more giving more artic but also should fix most of the torque twisting problems

Badd 08-17-2006 04:44 PM

yet another pic of the little guy . this time posing on top of my Super trucks . maybe you can see in the pic i moved the rear shocks to the axles and droped the front of the shock down. this really helped with twist . i also changed springs again . moved 2 of the batteries to the rear axle . anyway on to the pic http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n...rawlers002.jpg

revoster 08-17-2006 06:47 PM

It looks tiny next to your supers. It looks great.

Badd 08-20-2006 07:57 PM

here is a pic of it at S.E.R.C.R.C comp (Buck's Pocket) on the final course . ended up with a 6th place finish . not bad for me and it being a new truck . only has 3 packs thru it even now . http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n...e/03844910.jpg and another http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n...sPocket016.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n...sPocket121.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n...sPocket026.jpg

Trikster 09-08-2006 10:18 AM

Nice rig! DO you know if that is solid rod or tube? I am guessing solid as I don't see a ton of bracing. The aluminum plates could be hiding it, but I can only see the last few pics (I cannot see the ones on MSN). I hope to put one together this winter (when its not 100 outside) and am slowly putting togther my tools.

Badd 09-19-2006 07:06 PM

Trikster it is made from solid rod . the builder is John Boyer , he does really great work . I have always wanted a Boyer Buggy . here is a few more pics of it getting "NUCKING FUTS" . http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n...GT91706056.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n...GT91706052.jpg

dotson 09-20-2006 12:32 AM

Badd 10-12-2006 11:22 PM

@tw!ll 11-04-2006 03:13 PM

@tw!ll 11-07-2006 09:15 PM

Badd 11-08-2006 01:42 AM
