| Need some help Again.... Trying to make a scale crawler...
Ok, now I am trying ot make a scale crawler.. I am working off a clod4 based chassis.. But I am gonna cut it down a little... I have my shocks mounted already but I am trying to get my chasssis to sit more level ... heres a pic of how it sit now..(Im not using the tlt-1's, I just wanted to get a small idea of it would look with tires.) anyways here is a pic..... would relocating the upper links to a higher mounting position work.?? Honestly you might get a quicker response in the clod forum... Since it is a clod no matter how you slice it, just going to be running different tires.

One thing that would help out is relocating the lower shock mounts position. Try mounting them on the lower links. This will lower the overall hight of the truck. Then relocate the upper linkage mounts on the chassis. If your lower linkage mounts and upper linkage mounts are around 1" appart you should be okay. You can then tweak the chassis, links and shocks little by little until it sits where you would like it. Hope that helps |
