read this on a site will it work? :? TlT-1 mods know alot of people that have done it different ways and different lengths but i got to say that if you buy traxxas turnbuckles in theses lenthgs, 2 setes of traxxas tunbuckles # 2339 which are 105 mm, so you should have 4 of those, then get traxxas turnbuckles #2338 which are 96mm and get 2 sets of those so 4 total, then for dogbones get product # DTXC9601 from duratrax which are 85.5 mm long. with all of this it will extend your rockbuster perfectly, i will get pics of what it looks like in a few days but there's my review and imput, hope it helps someone. |

That's the most basic way to stretch it. Here's what I did: http://www.rccrawler.com/postt3953.html Pretty much the same as what you listed, except I used HPI dog bones and needed bigger axle cups, but they bolted right on. My pics will give you an idea how that stretch looks under a Maxx style body. It's a good way to go if you're on a budget and can't afford an aftermarket chassis and stampede tranny. |
