| first tlt build sw2
just recived my sw2 chassis yesterday just thought i would post some pics on the mockup this is my first crawler build,and its awsome. |

i had a bruiser a frog and a hornet back in the 80's , then some rc 10 and the list goes on an on.. and it keeps going it never ends i love my hobby |

they are duratrax evader shocks. figured i would try them out. 4 inches overall length. |

| more sw2 progress
finally was able to progress with the sw2 narrowing wheels and building drive shafts. also got parts to assemble slipper clutch. |

finally was able to take my sw2 for a short run. still have to change out the steering servo. got a jr 8411 from my buddy. also have to finish some wiring and fab the body mounts. hopefully i will find some local crawlers to hook up with. this thing is awsome. |

was able to get some more work done on the body mounts and got the body painted. fiting and bodies is not one of my strong points..... i think it came out ok. Last edited by invertman; 09-22-2006 at 06:16 PM. |

looks good man. Might want to try to get the body mounts on top though. I have my fronts on top, but still have to figgure out how to get the rears on top. I keep peeling off body clips on the rocks.

yea, i wanted the mounts on the top, but i also need to figure out a way to do that. i did cut the length down on the posts this morning. i really like the body but i think the c.g. is a little high. i might try that beetle body or a stadium truck body. need to get it on some rocks to see how it will work out. thanks for info. |

yea i think its a little high myself. i need to order the widener kit then i will probably lower the mounting position. i just dont want the tires rubbing. as it sits now,when its at full articulation i have about 1/16 inch gap between the tire and body. thanks for the help. |
