Mugsy's getting a brother!. Work has started on a new tuber. It's going to be similar in size, just a few changes for performance and realism

should I make this a King of the hammers buggy? stretch out the chassis and shorten the wheelbase a bit, run some 1.9"s rework the front clip and make it a little less dated? What do you think?

I know I love it too, maybe I'll just shorten it up a bit, run some 1.9's and leave him alone.

Make it a KOB (King of the Bean) buggy for sure. The only mod is switching to the 1.9s. You will also most definitely need a winch. No rig can make the whole run without one (sometimes two )

Maybe I can finish un-retiring my old Cobra chassis to race against you tuber to tuber. It hasn't ran since the 2005 series.

WOOO, I thought you were trapped under something heavy. Good to see you back on the board Sam.

I've got no place for a winch. How about we implement a spotting strap rule?

Just picked up stuff for this old rig. I'll change the pinion & spur for more topend and a RPM light bar. I'll post up when I get it mounted. What lights are people using for these light bars? look like 3mm but not sure. Also I swapped out my 2.2 Rock Claws for some 1.9 TSL/SX's. Whatcha think?

I agree, I'm seriously thinking about cutting the front end off to build one that will hold the servo and a winch.

Thanks it's been a great little rig. Were you are Off Road Expo this year? I gave a guy a CD with a video portfolio on it and never heard anything. Anyway when's Losi coming out with a scaler?

I wasn't there this year... I was at the Hammers with the Ftoy

I've been swamped here lately, but a scaler is something that I would love to do at some point
