| playin with my tube....
I'm building a new crawler, with a somewhat scale look. I wanted it to look more or less like a real crawler so it has a little taller profile than my moon buggy. So far I'm liking the lines of it. The design is inspired partially by rckjeeps tube chassis, and by various full-size crawlers. I also made it so that it could have decent sized body panels so I could give it some sweet, sweet, rattle can love. I'm not good at painting anything but it's fun, and with spray paint it's easy to redo if it sucks. specs are: pede trans 55T motor tube chassis 3/16 brake line brake line links tlt shocks (if I like how they ride) thin aluminum "body" for that scale body damage factor Moabs crappy esc and radio gear that I have layin' around |

Where are the rear shocks going to mount? I am admitedly blind, but I didn't see a rear mount? Looks awesome, everything in a small package, and pretty well braced up. Congrats on a nice build.

on the rear deck right behind the B pillar there is a piece of tube welded on. That is where the rear shocks will mount. 3/16 brake line is just about perfect for 3mm bolts to go through. I should have it mostly assembled tonight, I'll try to add some pics. I've been working on this for quite a while but only got this thread started once it was almost finished. |

That paint is sooo cool! Plus, I love the use of stock TLT shocks. Nobody believes in 'em but they sure get it done.

With the nose bent up like that, it looks like it is growling. I like it.

check the for sale forum :-( . I have too many crawlers and not enough money, so away it goes. Oh well building is half the fun, right?
