Default The Crawler P.o.d.

AKA - Revoster's build.

This is a design I came up with a while back and couldn't get anyone to bit on it. NOW finally Revoster decided to go with the design and he's been waiting for me to get pics up.

It's not going to be exactly like the concept but really close because as you build you find things that can or doesn't need to be there.

Any way, The specs I have.
TLT Axles
Tube frame 3/16"
Stealh type tranny
Maxx shocks
12.5" WB

Revoster can add the rest or change what I didn't get right.

The concept drawing.

THE START

more done.

My hand and eye cordination. Really. I just kind of eye ball it and make a bunch of little bends till it's where it's supposed to be. Takes a while but turns out nice. and the 3/16" bends easily.
For larger bends like I did on Shush Yaz I used my leg as a center point.

It's 3/16. It's only like a 1/16 of an inch difference but yeah they look ultra small side by side.

I also did the General (aka dilatory crawler) in 3/16" tube.

Looks neat, kinda reminds me of someones dome with a receding hair line. I'm really excited about this one, its much more different than I expected when I first saw the drawings a few months ago.

No I've been sick and ran out of silv on Saturday. I will get somemore today since I'm feeling better and was able to go to work today. :(

I do plan on making a delrin skid for it though instead of metal.

Looks good man, but you should try to include more triangles in your frame for extra strength, lets see some more pics!
