Designed to be a Comp tuber.

I'm hoping thin will get you some wins

wish I was............

straight from the 2007 superclass rules which are done

• You must run a body, 10th scale or larger, 70% of the original body, to be determined by judges, 3" minimum height on sides, no less than 12.5" total length and full width in the center.
Tube chassis's are fine, as long as they resemble a 1:1 rig, they must retain a roof, hood and side panels.

So.. will it be legal if I put a hood and roof on it? or build a 1:1 identical?

This news is disterbing...

edit: it also makes it hard to be inovative when restricted..

Same ideals the moon buggy was based on.. isn't it? to think out side the box..

Thats bullcrap. I still have other chassis to rely on, but I'm going to raise total hell about any comp tuber that doesn't have a picture of a similar 1:1.

I didnt want a tuber that looked like a 1:1, I wanted somthing different. Oh well, I'll still drive the fawker. If it wont be legal for comps, so be it.

Twisted I built it to be legal and now it's not.

If someone has the ability to build something differnt and win with it.
It's like saying you cant run the Stick cause is different.

Is this in your location or National rules?

Good point, the chassis doesn't resemble anything like a 1:1. Yet, my tube chassis has to, ain't that funny. The Stick is a great product, but it should have to follow the same "resemble the 1:1 chassis" that mine has to.

I know what you guys are talking about. There is nothing I can do. I done put my votes in. Same goes for Jeffs'(kamikazes) new rig also...

all those that voted for and such, got turned down..

As for teh stick, that is because it runs a body.. I know, done tried to make that point also..

Twisted I ask because I've had other inquaries on this tuber for comp reasons.
If it's not leagal then I need to redo a design to make it so.

Is the POD legal? I'll get a link in just a minute.

Well, even if this doesnt work out to be comp legal its still comming with me when I go. I may not be able to drive it in a points series, but I'll drive it on comp courses.
