| custom drive shafts
Hi all, just finished my first custom pieces for the used TLT I bought, the plastic ones lasted less than two hours as one of them was allready glued. Now I'll start to work in the new links, shocks and a CF chassis, damn I'm starting to get hocked on this |

| Very nice looking. I'm assuming that they do slide, however, there are no grooves. Does it have piece at the end of the male end and grooves in the female end? |

Im not worthy... that is soo nice. Ive wasted alot of money buying aftermarket stuff that dosnt work. I wish I had the skills and tooling to just make my own stuff. BTW TOBEE CVDs are useless. |

You MADE that driveshaft?!? Damn, that looks good. Nice work. How did you machine the inside of the outer tube? Oh, if I could only afford a small 3-way mill/lathe!!! |

Now I see "eroded with an EDM machine" If you have a minute could you elaborate on that process? Sounds like you have some FUN toys to play with. Is this at your work? |

WOW... thoes are UTTERLY amazing.... great machine work.... but i dont see why they are necessary.. i have been running the same plastic drive shafts and yokes for over 2 yrs with NO probs what so ever... i mean they are quite beat up, as i run at least 2 or 3 batteries a week ( 3 hrs runtimes ..4500mah batteries AHAHAH) but i have NEVER had problems with them breaking.. but sweet shafts none the less.

Man, I could use some of those for a scale chassis I'm building. They look much more scale than a maxx slider. You machine skills are damn good, bet you would make a mint if you could make those at an affordable price.

Regarding EDM you will find many information on the internet if you are curious, I'm sorry but it's difficult to me to explain in english such a technical aplication. | |

Those are sweet. If you can make custom lengths and keep the cost down. You would sell a Shiat load of them.

Thanks, kazi - you do nice work. If you could cut production time somehow, you'd move those for sure.
